WELCOME

My name is Amy White and I wear a lot of hats. My top three favorite hats are wife, mother, and follower of Jesus. I believe that there is power in the name of Jesus, and I am deeply committed to speaking His truth, love, and light into other women’s lives. I write books and create resources about the intersection of faith and motherhood, and as the Holy Spirit leads and pours into me, I pour into the global stay at home mama community through Dear SAH Mama.

Men and women were created by the same God to take on different roles. We carry different physical, emotional, and spiritual gifts; however, there is one thing that each of us will come face to face with over the lifespan—deep and profound loss. Whether sudden and unexpected or a necessary purge, we must go through seasons of lament to make room for healing, humility, and hope. Lament is not a weakness of faith but rather an act of obedience—an honest turning of the heart toward God when answers feel absent and strength feels thin. In these valleys, grief becomes a language we all share, leveling our differences and reminding us of our shared humanity. As we weep, may we draw closer to the heart of God, who is not distant from our suffering, but intimately acquainted with it. May our tears become prayers, our silence an offering, and our brokenness a place where His presence is made known.
